Confidentiality
Enquiries are treated as confidential from the first email, whether or not an engagement follows. If a matter needs an NDA before specifics, say so — that is normal.
Conflicts
Conflicts are checked before any engagement is confirmed. A boutique practice can decline quickly; we would rather do that than manage a conflict.
