How the site works without cookies

Language choice travels in the page address (the ?lang= parameter) rather than in a cookie, so it lasts exactly as long as you keep browsing and leaves nothing behind. Regional adaptation is performed on our server, in memory, from the ordinary page request, and is discarded immediately — the privacy notice describes this in full.
